Al Price Studio

Location: ASU Foundation Transit Stop- Tempe, AZ  

Each cantilevered canopy has (4) steps, each step repeats (4) distinct laser-cut patterns.  The depth of the steps expands as they are positioned higher above the ground.  The sculpture takes advantage of the moving viewer and the moving sun, changing perspectives and shifting shadows. 

Materials: 10ga stainless plate, 3/16”dia. round stainless bar
